J/Cup Europe 2026 & J/99 European Cup Announcement

(Cherbourg, France)- J/Cup Europe is back and heading to Cherbourg, France for two days of top-level racing delivered in true J/Cup style. Mark your calendars- June 18-20, 2026!

Run in partnership with AXE Sail and Yacht Club de Cherbourg, this year’s event will bring together J/Boats teams from across Europe for competitive, well-run racing and great shoreside hospitality.

All J/Boats are invited, and we’re excited to announce the J/99 European Cup will be incorporated into the program– expect close battles, busy start lines, and high-energy racing throughout!

Prepare your crew, fine-tune your boat, and get ready to experience the J/Cup spirit with a European twist. See you on the start line.

J/99 European Cup
For the J/99s, the event expands to three full days of inshore racing from June 18-20, 2026, with the additional racing day included automatically in the J/Cup entry.

The opening day- June 18th- is dedicated exclusively to the J/99 fleet, giving teams their own start lines and on-the-water support with coaching and expert insight from J/Composites and North Sails.

UK boats can join the adventure by taking part in the delivery race from Hamble, England to Cherbourg, France, where they’ll meet the rest of the expected 20–boat fleet before the full J Cup Europe program begins.

After three days of close, competitive racing, we’ll be crowning the first-ever J/99 European Champion— a landmark moment for the class and a major highlight of the 2026 event.
